1. Please check your name, flight number, and flight date after receiving your E-ticket itinerary. If there are any problems, please contact your ticket agent immediately. You can also ask the ticket sales staff about the aircraft used for your flight.
2. Special meals should be booked 24 hours before departure. If you need a bassinet, please book this when you purchase your ticket and make sure your baby weighs less than 12kg/25 pounds.
3. Make sure you bring your ID card, passport, travel itinerary, and any other required items with you.
4. When taking an international flight, you should learn about the inspection and quarantine rules, customs regulations, time difference, and weather of your destination country in advance.
5. To provide passengers with a comfortable flight environment, we keep the passenger cabin temperature between 23 and 25°C. We provide a quilt, mattress, pillow, and back support for every first class and business class passenger on long-haul international routes. We provide a quilt, blanket, and pillow for every passenger in first class and premium economy on domestic routes as well as in premium economy class and economy class on long-haul international routes. The blankets provided in economy class on domestic routes are intended for use by passengers who are elderly, weak, sick, disabled, pregnant, or children. Economy class passengers who do not belong to one of these groups can bring their own jacket to keep warm.
6. Passengers can take the airline shuttle bus to the airport according to the flight date and number found on their bus or flight ticket. Standard fairs for this bus are included in the price of the flight ticket. You can also arrive at the airport by yourself using other means of transport. You should get to the airport in advance to allow enough time to go through check-in procedures (for instance, document inspections and security checks) so you do not miss your flight.
7. Try to bring as few carry-on items as possible. Large baggage should be checked in.
8. Airsickness prevention: Passengers feel airsick because of an imbalance in their bodily organs and poor physical fitness. Airsickness can generally be prevented by taking some travel sickness medication 15 minutes before boarding. Passengers who suffer from serious airsickness can take the following measures to avoid or ease their symptoms: Get enough sleep and rest the night before boarding; take “Yunjining” (an anti-airsickness medicine) one hour (or at least half an hour) before departure; try to pick seats which are near a window but far away from the engine so as their is less noise but a wider field of vision.
9. Pregnant women are more prone to thrombosis. We therefore suggest that these passengers wear tight-fitting stockings and keep their feet raised during flights. We also suggest that pregnant women consult a doctor before traveling to avoid any danger.
10. As diabetics need timed injections of insulin, we suggest that diabetic passengers consult their doctor regarding the dosages and type of insulin to bring before traveling. We also advise that they make accurate plans for their insulin injections. It is also advised that passengers do not fly on an empty stomach; eat a small portion of food such as fruits, vegetables, salad, biscuits, cereal bars, or bread before or during the flight. Drinking coffee, black tea, or alcoholic beverages as well as smoking or eating anything spicy or greasy is also not advised.
