I. "TATCI" Service Plan

(I) Scope of Application

It only applies to all passengers carried by China Southern Airlines and destined for other domestic destinations on the day of transfer via Dalian and does not apply to international flights.

(II) Service Description

Passengers who meet the above conditions can be provided with "TATCI" service, which means passengers whose checked baggage has been directly transferred to the destination and who hold the boarding pass for the next flight can directly follow the pick-up staff to the waiting hall to enjoy security check and baggage claim free services.


II. Transfer Process

1. Domestic to domestic: The following process is only applicable to passengers who transfer from a China Southern Airlines flight to another China Southern Airlines flight (on the same day), except for special passengers.

(1) Passenger who has a through ticket

The passenger gets off the plane and enters the domestic arrival area → sees the pick-up staff → follows the staff to the waiting hall, with baggage claim-free.

The passenger gets off the plane and enters the domestic arrival area → does not see the pick-up staff → goes to the departure hall on the second floor for security check and waits at the boarding gate if has a through ticket, with no need to collect the checked baggage but need to carry the boarding pass for the next flight.

(2) Passenger who does not have a through ticket

The passenger gets off the plane and enters the domestic arrival area → does not see the pick-up staff → collects the checked baggage and goes to the check-in counter of China Southern Airlines (Zone A) on the second floor for check-in procedures of the next flight if does not have a through ticket.

2. Domestic to international: The following process is only applicable to passengers who transfer from a China Southern Airlines flight to another China Southern Airlines flight (on the same day).

The passenger gets off the plane and enters the domestic arrival area → collects baggage at the domestic baggage claim area (Baggage Claim No. 1/2) → goes to the international hall on the second floor with baggage (Gate 22) → passes customs inspection → goes to the check-in counter of China Southern Airlines for check-in procedures → goes through border inspection and exit formalities (on the left of the check-in counter of China Southern Airlines) → passes security check → arrives at the boarding gate and prepares for boarding.

3. International to domestic: The following process is only applicable to passengers who transfer from a China Southern Airlines flight to another China Southern Airlines flight (on the same day).

The passenger gets off the plane and enters the international arrival area → goes through border inspection and entry formalities → collects baggage at the baggage claim area → goes through customs inspection with baggage → goes to the check-in counter of China Southern Airlines (Counter 10-16, Zone A) of the domestic departure hall on the second floor → passes security check (on the left of the check-in counter of China Southern Airlines) → arrives at the boarding gate and prepares for boarding.


III. Minimum Connection Time (MCT) of China Southern Airlines Flights Transiting at Dalian Airport

Domestic – Domestic: MCT 50 minutes

Domestic – International: MCT 100 minutes

International – Domestic: MCT 100 minutes

International – International: MCT 70 minutes

Note: If the connection time is shorter than the above-mentioned time, the "TATCI" service will not be guaranteed.

V. Airport Transfer Accommodation Reservation

1. Reservation Rules

For Chinese and international passengers transferring through Dalian Airport before December 31, 2024, inbound flights are same day, outbound overnight flights following day, and transfer times between 7 (inclusive) and 24 hours (inclusive).

2. Location and Operating Hours

The Dalian Airport Transfer Accommodation Service counter is located next to the SF Express counter east of Gate 5 on the first floor of Terminal 2. The counter is open daily from 09:30 to 24:00.

3. Reservation Requirements

  • (1) Advance Booking:- Reservations for the complimentary accommodation service must be made at least 1 day in advance on weekdays.- Reservations must be made 3 days in advance for weekends, holidays, and the months of July, August, and September.- Reservations must be confirmed by staff.

  • (2) Same-Day Application: - If no advance reservation has been made, passengers can apply for the complimentary accommodation service at the counter on the day of travel. - Counter staff will confirm whether the service is available.

4. Reservation Method

  • (1) Online reservations can be made for complimentary accommodation services (available only to passengers who have purchased tickets with their ID cards) with the WeChat mini program "Transfer Passenger Service Pass".

  • (2) Complimentary accommodation services can be booked with the service hotlines: +86-411-83886893, +86-18698692777, +86-15898115999.

  • (3) Reservations can be made between 09:30 and 24:00 daily..

5. Services

Accommodation is provided free of charge (limited to one bed per person for one night). An additional fee of RMB 100/room applies for passengers requiring a single room. All other hotel expenses are the responsibility of the passengers.

6. Pick-Up and Drop-Off

There is a complimentary shuttle service travelling between the airport and hotel. It departs from the hotel at 05:00 a.m., 06:00 a.m., and 09:00 a.m., for a total of three trips. Shuttles run from the airport to the hotel between 11:00 and 24:00, with schedules organized according to the landing times of passengers' flights. (Passengers must arrange their transportation during other periods.)

7. Important Notes

  • (1) International passengers are asked to ensure they have a valid entry permit.

  • (2) Passengers must fill out and sign the Baggage Declaration Form for Entry-Exit Passengers on site.

  • (3) Hotel check-in time is after 12:00 p.m. on the day of arrival.

  • (4) Hotel check-out time is before 12:00 p.m. the next day.

8. Disclaimer

This transfer accommodation service is provided by Dalian Airport. It includes complimentary accommodation for one night (one bed per person, excluding breakfast) and complimentary shuttle service between Dalian Airport and the hotel for eligible transfer passengers.
