1. Merlion Park
Geographic Location: Located at the Estuary of Singapore River and on the Fullerton Road
Introduction:The well-known Merlion Statue, situated on the lakeside of Singapore River, is 8m high and 40t heavy. The lion's head represents the legendary "Lion City", and the fish's tail symbolizes the ancient city "Tumasik", implying that Singapore originates from a small fishing village. Today, the Merlion Statute has become an emblem and sign for Singapore.

3. Singapore Zoological Garden

Introduction:In 1973, Singapore Zoological Garden was opened to the public. During the garden design, the open-type concept is taken as the design philosophy, and so the garden comprises tropic forest and lakes. In the garden, the zoo takes a floor space of 28 hectares and pools 250 species of mammals, birds, and reptilians, with total number hitting nearly 3,000.
