Buses

The Skybus Super Shuttle is an important means of transport to and from the airport. It takes about 20 minutes to get from the airport to Southern Cross Station in the CBD of Melbourne.

Taxis

Most of the taxis in Melbourne are yellow and green in color with a large dome-shaped light. Passengers can easily recognize them. The taxi fare from the airport to the downtown area is approximately AUD55 - 60, and the journey takes about 20 minutes if there is not much traffic. If the driver takes the toll road, there will be an additional charge of AUD4, which is like the toll fee in China.

There are four hotels near the airport. The Hilton Hotel, which has 280 rooms, is accessed from the multi-story parking lot 100 m from T2. Holiday Inn, Motel Formule 1 and Mantra Tullamarine are 600 m to 2 km away from the main terminal building. There is a BP gas station, a Benz agency and a McDonald's at the entrance to the airport. The Golf Club is next to the north-south runway.
