1. Passengers bring the following articles should choose the red channel (the channel for clearance) and be cleared by the customs. Related clearing documents should be handed into the customs for entry procedures.
1) Animals, plants and other products; microbes, biological products, body organisms, blood and other products;
2) Products value more than RMB 5,000 Yuan from abroad for residential travelers;
3) Products value more than RMB 2,000 Yuan from abroad for non-residential travelers;
4) More than 1,500 millimeters of alcohol (with the degree surpassing 12), or more than 400 cigarettes, 100 cigars or 500 grams of cut tobacco;
5) Cash of more than RMB 20,000 Yuan or foreign currency of more than USD 5,000;
6) baggage, commodities, samples or advertised articles needing separate transportation;
7) Other products that should be cleared by the customs.

4) Commodities, samples or advertised products;
5) Other products that should be cleared by the customs.
Special counters for self boarding are in section A (At the Airport companies) and section B (At the Airport companies) with 12 pieces of equipment. Passengers can check in and print their boarding passes the day any China Southern Airlines flight taking off.
The whole terminal has special designs for the disabled: there are barrier-free blind tracks in front of the terminal; inside there are barrier-free elevators and toilet seats for the disabled in every washing room.
There are 3 mother-infant rooms in the terminal, open around clock with television, couch and facilities for feeding but without specially assigned people to look after. They are located in the long distance terminal, the long corridor and the short corridor on the second floor. There is a traveler service center in the terminal to provide services of fax, email, printing and typing.

Check-in counters excluded for international flights are in terminal T1 and china flights in terminal T2. Passengers taking China Southern Airlines can check-in at section B.
