Harbin

Harbin is the capital of Heilongjiang Province, China. It is a sub-provincial city, located in the center of Northeast Asia, and is a major hub of the first Eurasian Continental Bridge and air corridor. Harbin is located in the north of the Northeast Plain, the south of Heilongjiang, and is the political, economic, cultural, technical and transportation center of the province.


						
							

Harbin has temperate continental monsoon climate with long cold winter and short cool summer. It is known as "city of ice" and "summer resort" and is an ideal destination for ice and snow tourism and summer resort.


						
							
  • 1. Harbin Sun Island Park
    Sun Island is a river island in the Songhua River in Harbin City, Heilongjin Province. It is located in between the old and new downtown of the Harbin city, with a total area of 88 square kilometers, of which the planning area covers 38 square kilometers, the perimeter protection area covers 50 square kilometers, and is divided into east, central and western districts. Sun Island is a provincial scenic spot in Heilongjiang province, national wetland park and national water conservancy scenic spot, 5A scenic spot identified by the National Tourism Administration and the largest urban riverside ecological zone.
  • 2. Harbin Ice and Snow World
    Harbin Ice and Snow World was constructed in 1999 by the Harbin Municipal Government for the millennium celebration "China Century Tour", which is an unprecedented-scale large ice art project giving full play to the ice and snow resources in Harbin. Harbin Ice and Snow World shows the unique cultural charm of ice and snow culture and tourism in the northern city of Harbin. Every winter, china and overseas tourists come in an endless stream. Harbin Ice and Snow World is the world's largest outdoor super large entertainment project themed on ice and snow. There are many bus stations in Harbin. Nangang station and Jiaohua station are relatively big stations, which can be accessed by taking bus No. 6, No.11, No.13, No.14, No.16, No.21, No.64, No.74, No.89, No.101, No.103, No.108, No.109, and No.115. In addition, there are Daowai Station, Daqiao Station, Sankeshu Station, and Longyun Road Station with long-distance buses to other places in or out of the province.


						
							

Counters No. 1-8 are for check-in of China Southern Airlines, No. 10-17 for check-in of other airlines, No.18-24 are the ticket windows, No. 9 is designed to pack registered baggage of passengers. In front of the ticket office, there is a small passenger lounge area, where you can enjoy a comfortable massage chair while watching TV. Next to the rest area is the VIP lounge and coffee shop of China Mobile, and the escalator next to the coffee shop takes you to the third floor to enjoy the Northeast-style buffet. Through the channel between counter No. 8 and counter No. 9, you can undergo a security check at the security checkpoint, following which you can enter the isolation area of the terminal building.
