There are more than a dozen bus lines in Sanya city. The buses are in service from 6 am to 11 pm or so. The bus fare varies in the range of 1-4 Yuan according to the distance.

International Airport gets its name from its location in Phoenix Village, Yanglan Town, Sanya. It is the southernmost international airport in China, and 14 km west to the downtown areas of Sanya, 5 km west to Tianya-Haijiao. The airport is near beach with beautiful environment.
