  1. You can obtain your reservation information via the following three means:


    • 1) Put your ID card on the scanning area.
    • 2) Enter your E-ticket No., ID card No. or Sky Pearl Member No. on the touch screen.
    • 3) Scan the QR code.

    • On-line check-in is one of the most efficient way of checking in.

    • For a China domestic departure passenger who has no luggage to check, he/she can get the boarding pass printed out at Online Check-in and go through the security check directly, which can save time for him/her.

    • Hong Kong/ Macau/ Taiwan, China/ International departure passenger who has obtained the printed boarding voucher at the Online Check-in can get the boarding pass at the check-in counter with the voucher 60 minutes prior to departure (excluding passengers departing from Hong Kong,China).
  3. Adult passengers who have purchased the flights operated by China Southern Airlines may check-in online. For some cities, the same service is available for children passengers, but not infant passengers.

  4. It must be valid adult E-ticket (except for passengers who need special services or verification of other boarding certificates); while the traditional paper ticket is not accepted for online check-in.

      • 4. Passengers take the fights or E-tickets not from CSAir,

      • 5. It is not the time of check-in yet;

      • 6. Change of airplane types intermits the check-in;

      • 7. Network-related or any other reason.  

    • For above reasons, you can go to the airport counter to check in or wait for a moment.

  17. Online check-in will start from 14:00 on the day before departure to one hour before the departure (some cities can start earlier). Be sure to check in during this period if you need to check in online.

  18. Yes, after successful log-in and by “Select your seat”, you can select the unblocked or vacant seat as per the dynamic icons.

  19. You only need to use A4 paper to print the boarding pass.

  20. It matters. You must print the boarding pass on one paper for the convenience of boarding. If your boarding pass is incorrectly printed or lost partially, we suggest that you readjust your printer and print the boarding pass on one paper.

  21. It may be caused by the unstable system or network problem. We suggest you try again at another time or go to the airport to change the seat.

  22. Yes, you can receive the boarding pass at the airport counter or duty counter at the airport with valid certificate.

    1. Yes, you can check in online. However, you need to check in luggage at the airport counter before departure.

    3. Standard of carry-on luggage: each passenger can bring one piece of hand luggage (two pieces of hand luggage for each passenger of first class) not exceeding 20×40×55 cm in size and 5 kg in weight.

    The possible reasons for failure to inquire:

    • You have not complete valid booking.
    • Your network is in poor condition with serious delay and incomplete information display.
    • Our server is busy.

  35. It is the same as check-in, you can log in the online check-in page and choose the flight checked, and then cancel the check-in.

  37. If you cancel the check-in within one hour before departure or have checked in your luggage, you can't cancel the online check-in. If you need to cancel it, please go to the airport and contact with service staff.

  38. No. The cancellation of online check-in only means the waiver of former seat you have chosen but does not mean you have cancelled the ticket reservation.

    • Domestic departure passengers can print boarding passes after online check-in;

    • An international departure passenger who has obtained the printed boarding voucher at the Online Check-in can get the boarding pass at the check-in counter with the voucher 60 minutes prior to departure (excluding passengers departing from Hong Kong).

If you are not sure about your printer set, we suggest that you refer to the printer instruction. You’d better print it in black and white with A4 paper in advanced mode.
