What is an e-ticket?
An E-ticket refers to an electronic passenger ticket, a form of ticket sold by a carrier or its agent, which is a valued voucher for ticket sales, passenger transportation as well as related services in the form of electronic data rather than paper form.
Can I book e-tickets for children?
E-tickets can be booked for children over two years old being accompanied by at least one adult (over 18 years old) during travel.
Can I book e-tickets online for children traveling without an adult and apply for relevant arrangements for them?
No. Please dial the service hotline of direct sales on CSN website: 4006695539 (Inland); 8620-22395539 (International) (service provided 7×24 hours), or CSN sales service hotline: 95539 (Inland); 8620-86682000 (International) to consult related booking procedures.
Can I book tickets for any CSN flights online?
At the moment not all CSN flight tickets are available for online booking. CSN has realized online booking for most domestic flights so far. For detailed information, please refer to the scope of online booking services.
Why can I just book tickets online at most for six pax every time?
At present, airlines providing online booking services worldwide prescribe a limit to the number of each booking, which not only facilitates the control over seats, but also reduces users’ risk in the booking process. What’s more, the booking service provided by CSN online ticket system is only available for individual passengers, and group booking services cannot be performed curremtly..
What are “Group Passengers”?
“Group Passengers” refers to a group of passengers with pax number above ten (inclusive) (or the minimum pax number of group provided by specific products of CSN), same voyage, flight date, flight number and cabin class, paying for airfares at the same price for group passengers. So far, the group booking service is not available from the CSN website.
Can I apply for seat bookings online if I already have a ticket?
Sorry. At present the seat booking service is limited to passengers buying CSN e-tickets. For more information about online seat bookings, please refer to “CSN Online Seat Booking Agreement” and “User’s Guide in CSN Seating Booking” in “Service Agreement”.
Can I inquire about booking information if I have bought CSN air tickets from a travel agency?
At the moment, booking information can only be obtained online with tickets booked via the online booking service. If you need any help, please contact your travel agency or our booking office.
Can I book seats online if I have chosen a code-share flight?
Sorry. Temporarily the seat booking service is not available for code-share flights (namely non-CSN flights).
Will I receive a confirmation message after online booking?
Yes. You will see a confirmation page when you complete an online booking successfully, and CSN will send a confirmation message to you via SMS. However, due to the impact of various factors such as information service providers, you may not receive your confirmation message in time. If you don’t receive the message for a long time after booking, please dial 4006695539 to consult. You can also log in to email or CSN portal to confirm your booking.
What are infant tickets?
Infant tickets are designed for infants under two years old who do not occupy their own seats. Each infant must be accompanied by at least one adult passenger. To ensure passengers’ safety, infants born less than 14 days are not allowed to take a flight.
Can I book seats online for infants under two years old?
If you need to book seats for infants under two, you may buy children tickets for them.
How can I buy infant tickets?
Now infant tickets are available on the CSN portal. You can book infant tickets for infants between 14 days and two years old. But infant tickets should be bound to adult tickets, one adult to one infant, rather than sold alone. And you may buy child tickets for additional infants.
If you need to buy infant tickets alone when you already have adult tickets, please buy it from the ticket offices directly under CSN. If you buy adult tickets together with infant tickets, you can also buy them from ticket offices directly under CSN or their agents.
Do I need to register them before using the online booking service?
Now it is possible for nonmembers to buy tickets from the CSN website
If I am a member of CSN Sky Pear, do I need to register before online booking?
If you are a member of CSN Sky Pearl, you can log in with your membership number and personal password, and there is no need to register.
How can I obtain a ticket after making an online booking?
After your confirmation of the e-ticket purchase, you can take a corresponding flight with required valid identification.
Can I obtain your latest information via automatic email after registering as a member and enjoying your booking service?
Sorry, this service is not provided at the moment. You can subscribe for the RSS service provided on our website in order to get the latest information.
Does the CSN website provide the service of mileage exchange for free tickets?

Can I buy tickets online for all CSN flights?
Sorry, at the moment online ticketing is not available for all CSN flights. We have achieved online ticketing for most CSN domestic flights so far. For details, please refer to the scope of online booking services. Although online booking cannot be achieved for some international flights, we are further expanding our service scope to meet the general requirements of our clients.
How to inquire about airfares on the CSN webpage?

We often provide limited preferential airfares that are only available on our website. Only through our online booking service for tickets purchase can you enjoy these special offers.
Why is the airfare you provide different from that of a travel agency?
Airfare is restricted by supply of flight seats and prices. Thus, the airfare provided by your travel agency may differ from ours.
Can I inquire about airfares or book a ticket via email?
Sorry, it does not work at the moment. But you can use our “Online Booking” service to plan your journey easily.
Can I book a non-scheduled ticket with multiple destinations and gaps on csair.com?
www.csair.com Now you can only book one way, round trip and multi-destination tickets through www.csair.com; gap tickets and non-scheduled tickets can not be set. How can I view the airfare rules and restrictions?
During inquiring and ticket booking, you are invited to view airfare rules and restrictions. It is of great importance to read and understand the conditions related to the airfare you choose. Before buying, make sure that you have already read the following entries:
How can I know if I have bought an air ticket?
Once you input your e-bank/credit card information and agree to the conditions, you will receive a confirmation message. Meanwhile, you will receive a message notification from CSN if you have bought air ticket.
How should I use the e-ticket when boarding?
Passengers with e-tickets only need to show the required valid identification when boarding, and do not need to show the paper ticket.
Can I buy an e-ticket for other people?
You can book an e-ticket for other people, but the CSN website limits pax number for reservation with the maximum of six.
Will CSN offer online air charter services?
Sorry. Air charter services are not available on the CSN website for the moment.
Is the airfare in Harbin cable television consistent with that on the CSN website?
Harbin cable television sells the B2C e-ticket of CSN; most of the airfares are consistent with those on CSN website.
How should I get the itinerary/receipt after booking via Harbin cable television?
You can ask for it at the e-commerce counter of CSN at the departure airport. If you cannot get the itinerary/receipt at the airport in special circumstances, please call (8620) 95539 – 4 to apply to send it by post within a month then the flight and the itinerary/receipt will be sent to passenger by registered letter. Late applications will not be accepted. CSN kindly reminds you that the itinerary/receipt can only be asked for once.
How should I know if the reservation is successful after booking via Harbin cable television?
You can log in to the CSN website and use the passenger name, order no. and ticket no. to inquire the order information and status; meanwhile, you can inquire through the order management module on home page.
What is the itinerary/receipt and points for attention during use?
Itinerary/Receipt is the payment voucher or reimbursement voucher given to passengers with e-tickets, which has the function of detailing the journey. The itinerary/receipt shall be issued based on the principle of "One person, one ticket", which shall not be used as a necessary voucher for boarding and security inspection at the airport. If the passenger cancels the ticket or other changes leading to a discrepancy in the airfare, in case it has been printed, the original should be withdrawn so as to transact related procedures for passengers. Itinerary/Receipt cannot be reprinted and re-applied in case of loss. There are three ways to verify the Itinerary/Receipt: CSN link http://etkt.csair.com/CheckTicket/modules/checkTicket/checkTicket.jsp (offer the verification of e-ticket sold by CSN website); www.travelsky.com; or dial the service hotline 400-815-888 and you could send SMS with JP to 10669018 to verify the e-ticket (SMS charges).

You are welcome to choose premium economy class tickets, you can book them in the following ways: official website of CSN; CSN website service hotline for direct selling: 4006695539; CSN service hotline for sales: 95539; ticket office and agent etc. directly under CSN.
What are the differences between CSN premium economy class ticket and other tickets when checking in luggage and procedures for undergoing boarding checks?
If you buy premium economy class tickets, you can enjoy the prior checking in luggage and special check-in counter so as to offer convenience to your checking in luggage and check-in, meanwhile, you may enjoy the rights of pre-boarding.
Are there any special features in premium economy class?
Compared with economy class, you can enjoy more spacious travel with 35-inch seat spacing; meanwhile, it can offer you more value-added ground service and cabin service than general economy class.
What kind of special services does premium economy class offer?
In ground service, we offer you the special check-in counter and prior checking in for luggage; in case of the abnormal flight, you could enjoy the standard service of gold and silver card members of Sky Pearl Club, meanwhile, you could enjoy the rights of pre-boarding and pre-upgrading (part of the airports cannot offer the prior service yet ). I have bought the premium economy class. How do I calculate my mileage accumulation?
We accumulate your mileage by 110% for every flight segment.
I have bought the premium economy class. Can I refund, change or endorse the ticket? Are there any restrictions?
We will charge 5% of the nominal value for refunding the premium economy class ticket; infant tickets are free of refund fees; when changing, in case you need to change the flight/date, if the changed flight is premium economy class, you could change to it directly, however, if the changed flight does not have premium economy class, you could change to economy class free of charge; if you need to upgrade to the first class or business class, we will deal with it according to upgrading rules, and if you need to change the voyage, it will be handled as a ticket refund; premium economy class allows endorsement.
Is there any discount when a a premium economy class ticket is bought for a child or an infant ?
For child tickets, 50% of the common airfare for adults will be collected or the same as an adult airfare; for infant ticket, 10% of the common airfare for adults will be collected.
In case of abnormal flights, is there special handling when buying the premium economy class ticket?
In case the abnormal flight occurs and ticket endorsement is needed, premium economy class passengers could transfer to other airlines’ flight directly; in case of the abnormal flightspremium economy class passengers can enjoy the equivalent treatment (limited to food and accommodation standards) of gold and silver members of Sky Pearl Club; in case of merged flights, premium economy class passenger could enjoy the priority of upgrade.
How do you calculate the airfare for infant tickets?
For infants who do not occupy seats, the airfare will be calculated as 10% of adult. If the infant needs a seat, the passenger should buy and pay for the child ticket.

How can I get the itinerary for the air tickets?
You can receive your itinerary for the air ticket in one of the following alternative ways (only applicable for booking a ticket via the CSN's portal):

We will send your itinerary by mail to to your address as it is registered on the online customer service of CSN's portal (only domestic air tickets are supported presently). Surface mail is free of charge but express delivery fees shall be charged to the passenger.
