How do I claim items that I lost on the CSN flight?
Regulations for Passenger Lost Items Inquiry and Claim
The lost inquiry service was launched by CSN since July 2009. The passenger may call the service hotline 020-95539 of CSN call center or 020-86122921 of CSN Baggage Information Department in Guangzhou. After confirming the information, you may claim the lost items at the appointed address.
At present, the service is only available in Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport.

(II) Handover of lost items
The owner shall claim the lost items through ID cards or other valid certificates. If another person is appointed by the owner to claim the lost items, the letter of attorney, ID cards or other valid certificates of the owner and its representative shall be provided.
(III) Attentions
1. The unclaimed lost items will be kept for 30 days in the luggage tracing department. No storage is available for these items after 30 days.
2. According to the regulations of CAAC, the clothes etc. shall be disposed of 30 days later; weapons shall be disposed by the police and cultural artifacts shall be handed in to the government. The valuables can be auctioned 90 days later. Fresh and perishable items can be disposed 24 hours later. Any rotten foods shall be disposed of instantly. The daily necessities (such as wet towel, toothbrush, potable water and eaten foods) are disposed of 48 hours later. The flammable or tainted items (such as lighter, gases, durian) will not be stored and kept.
3. In consideration of factors related to customs etc., the luggage tracing department will not accept requests for handling the lost items of passengers taking international flights.
